Two Upcoming Information Sessions For Researchers

The following sessions are being offered free of charge for research or community partners to attend

 

Session 1: NSERC Alliance Grants: Q&A Session

Date: Tuesday, May 16
Time: 2-3:30 p.m NT.

Location: This is a hybrid event. The session will take place in-person in room A-1046, Arts and Administration Building, St. John's Campus. Participants can also join virtually via the following link

NSERC Alliance grants encourage university researchers to collaborate with partner organizations that can be from the private, public or not-for-profit sectors.

  • Grants support research projects involving collaborative teams
  • Applicants can request $20,000 – $1M per year, for up to 5 years.

Session 2: Getting to Know SciVal

This session will enable librarians, researchers and research officers to understand SciVal and its underlying data.  In this training session, all four modules of SciVal will be covered.  Users will learn to evaluate and demonstrate performance of research teams, institutions, publications, research topics and countries all around the world.

Date: Thursday, May 18
Time: 2-4 p.m.
