The SRPC is excited to offer resources and opportunities designed specifically for Internationally Trained Physicians (ITPs). Recognizing the diverse pathways to licensure in Canada, this initiative provides essential information, access to experienced mentors, professional development opportunities, and valuable networking connections.
As requirements for practicing medicine in Canada vary by province and territory, these resources are intended to help ITPs navigate the process and explore opportunities in rural and remote communities. Our goal is to support internationally trained physicians on their journey to practice in Canada while helping address physician shortages in underserved areas.
