The Personal Statement Workshop, led by SRPC Residents who have successfully navigated the IMG pathway and matched in Canada, provides a supportive and inspiring space for international medical graduates (IMGs). This interactive workshop and webinar is designed to help participants craft compelling, personal, and creative personal statements. It focuses on structuring essays in a way that highlights each individual's unique experiences and strengths. The atmosphere is collaborative and comfortable, encouraging open discussion and idea-sharing, making it an ideal opportunity for IMGs to refine their writing in a positive and constructive environment.

If you're struggling with how to begin or structure your personal statement, don't worry—the SRPC IMG group is here to help! In this workshop, we'll cover essay outlines, creative ways to start your letter, and tips for weaving in personal experiences to make your application stand out.
